Takanori's new album "BRAND NEW WAY TO GO" is
finally available at CD Baby. It is truly a collaboration
of Jazz-Fusion heavyweights including Will Lee
(Bass), Oz Noy (Guitar), Jon Herington (Guitar),
James Genus (Bass), Janek Gwizdala (Bass) and
Tomo Fujita (Guitar). It was released on one of the
most well known jazz-fusion labels in Japan,
BounDEE JAZZ LIBRARY in October, 2010.
In addition to several songs he wrote it also features
Oz Noy's number "Just Groove Me" and
Tomo Fujita's "Just Funky"...

Donald Fagen, Cyndi Lauper, Vanessa Williams,
The Manhattan Transfer, Steps Ahead, Jim Beard,
Dennis Chambers, and many others.
Aaron is currently a member of the band led by the
remarkable Cameroonian musician, Richard Bona.
Aaron also continues to be a member of ex-Miles
Davis sideman Adam Holzman's band

I have been supporting her band in NYC with John "The Cat" Gatto on guitar (from the legendary rock band "Good Rats"), Jeff Allegue on bass (The T.S.O., Taylor Dayne), Billy Alexander on Keys., and Spyros Poulos on Keys. (Madonna). I'm really glad she released her debut album. Congratulations Anne and John!!!

| 11/7/2003 Tomo Fujita's Brand New Trio |
Takanori is currently working on Tomo Fujita's album, which features Tomo on guitar, Takanori on drums, and James Genus on bass. This is a really great trio!!! It's AMAZING!!! So Funky!!!! Tomo is an assistant professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and he has released many Instructional videos, DVDs, and books through Rittor Music in Japan, and they are selling like hotcakes, as Miles Davis used to say. James Genus is one of the my favorite bass players, and I can say he is one of the greatest bass players on the planet!!! He has performed and recorded with such artists as The Brecker Brothers, David Sanborn, Bob James, Kenny Garrett, Branford Marsalis, and many others. He is currently playing with The Saturday Night Live Band as well. I am really proud to be playing with these guys!!! The CD will be released sometime in 2005 or 2006. Surprise guests will join us! Please keep watching this space for news about Tomo's brand new trio!!!
